The hardest part about proceeding into the new year is leaving the old year behind. Failed opportunities, unfulfilled commitments, unhappy relationships… They are all very hard to forget. Walking away is one thing. Leaving the past where it belongs is another.
As we consider our resolutions, let’s not just forget the past. Let’s continue our progress. We are responsible for our happiness. Failed endeavors are fuel for future successes. This new year is going to be fantastic. It’s a continuation of what we’ve started last year.
It’s only over when we give up. Choosing to move on and giving up…they are fluid concepts.
Imani means faith. Let’s keep the faith in the new year.
